GOTTSCHALK LOUIS MOREAU: (1829-1869) American Composer & Pianist. Vintage signed and inscribed sepia carte-de-visite photograph, the albumen image depicting the composer in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Dunshee of Rhode Island and bearing his imprint to the verso. Signed by Gottschalk in dark fountain pen ink to the verso and dated Saratoga, 26th May 1863 in his hand. Scarce.
