HEPWORTH BARBARA: (1903-1975) British Sculptor. T.L.S., Barbara, one page, 4to, Trewyn Studio, St. Ives, Cornwall, 26th January 1968, to Warren Forma. Hepworth thanks her correspondent for their lovely letter and expresses her hope that he can be in London at the beginning of April ('I am delighted that you are coming without beard!'), further providing the dates for an exhibition opening party and private view and details of the suite she will be staying in at the Great Western Royal Hotel in Paddington, remarking 'I think we are going to have dome very hard work in arranging the show the previous fortnight'. One very light, small stain, not affecting the text or signature, otherwise VG Warren Forma (1923-2014) American Filmmaker & Author, known for his 'Artists at Work' documentary film series of 1963-67 which included 5 British Sculptors (Work and Talk) (1964) featuring Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and others.
