The siddur was arranged and translated by Rabbi Nissim Elisha Zecharia Elisha, and includes weekday prayers for the whole year with a translation to the Arabic spoken by the Jews of Bagdad and its surrounding area. The prayers in Hebrew and the Arabic translation in Hebrew letters are in facing columns. With two commentaries by the editor: "Rulings of laws and different versions and customs from the books of the early and later sages" called "Likutei Shoshanim" and "an explanation of the words in short language" by the name "Likutei Perachim".
