Semicha to the Rabbinate, by Rabbi Chaim Ya'akov Naftali Zilberberg - Warsaw, 1895

Document containing semicha for the rabbinate and for ruling halachic issues, handwritten and signed Rabbi Chaim Ya'akov Naftali Zilberberg, one of the greatest rabbis of Warsaw, 1895.
The semicha was given to Rabbi Leib ben Rabbi Yitzchak of Slutsk.
Rabbi Chaim Ya'akov Naftali Zilberberg (called Rabbi Naftali Wirsover, 1860-1930) one of the rabbis and Poskim of Warsaw, the son of Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Beinish Zilberberg, rabbi and Av Beit Din Kutno and Wirsov. He was a student of Rabbi Yisrael Salanter and Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik and was close to the Natziv and the Chafetz Chaim. He wrote many religious compositions yet only few of them were published in his kife. After his death, his son, Rabbi Michael Moshe Yehuda Zilberberg, published his compositions.

Condition: Good. Tears where the page was folded, restored. Most of the handwriting is in very good condition.
