Handwriting and Signature - Rabbi Elazar Menachem Man Shach - Bnei Brak, 1974

A 14-line letter in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Elazar Menachem Man Shach.
The entire letter is written in his handwriting, with his signature and stamp, on official letter paper. In the letter the Rabbi goes out of his way for the sake of an important Torah scholar who has to marry off his daughter. "I write what I know and am familiar with about one of the elevated people, great in Torah and in fear [of Heaven] and very very modest, whose son is engaged to the daughter of a great Torah scholar orphaned from her father…and one of the special people volunteered for this great mitzvah to come to his aid…because apart from the mitzvah of marrying off a bride and groom, there is also supporting the Torah of a great Torah scholar…". Rabbi Shach did not mention the name of any of the people discussed in the letter.
