"1968. I was then a young, aspiring artist, not far from my home on Shelepikha, I saw a man standing at an easel. I decided to come and talk as an artist to an artist. I couldn't see the artist's face, it was hidden by the canvas. Before I got within a few meters, a very thin, gray, and angry face in a cap peeked out from behind the canvas. "F.. you, " the face said. I turned and left, realizing that I had interrupted the creative process. This was my first meeting with a real artist. Many years later I found out that his name was Anatoly Tyukov and he lived somewhere in my district. It so happened that after his death, in order to help his old mother, I bought a beautiful study of the winter Moscow river with barges frozen in the ice. And we never met Anatoly himself."Alexey Dyachkov" Strokes "
