A RARE VINTAGE GERMAN EASTER CANDY CONTAINERS
Papier-mache candy containers from the early 20th century. One is in the shape of a chicken sitting on a wicker basket. The chicken figurine can be removed to reveal the hollow interior of the container. The second is made in the form of a sitting rabbit. The coat is well depicted in brownish tones, the tips of the ears are also tinted. The head is removed to reveal the hollow interior. Both figurines have glass inlaid eyes.
