The first siddur printed in Zhitomir—prayer book for Shabbat. Shapira printing, Zhitomir 1847.
Prayerbook for shabbatot throughout the year, Sefardi nusach, with shacharit and mussaf, the prayer for the Czar, the Czarina, and the Crown Prince. Also the piyyut Anim Zemirot. Printed originally at the end of the Chumash printed in Zhitomir in that year, the only siddur that was included with the Chumashim printed there, with a separate title page. In practice, this is the first siddur printed by the Shapira brothers of Slavita in Zhitomir, in 1847—the first year that the brothers published in Zhitomir. [1], 17 leaves. Moth holes, stains, good condition. New binding.
