Collection of [8] holy letter by the Admorim the holy Rav Rabbi Elazar Shapiro of Dynów-Sanok and his brothers-in-law the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Dov of Bardejov and the holy Rav Rabbi David Moshe of Gorlitz.


The letters are in Yiddish. Some of them are from Sanik. Most of them were written by the holy Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Elazar Shapiro of Sanok, the son of the Tzaddik the holy Admor Rabbi Yosef Shapiro of Dinov the son the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Of Birtsh the son of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Elazar of Lantzhot the son of the holy Rabbi Zvi Elimelech of Dinov author of 'Bnei Yissachar'. 

The letters by the holy Rav Rabbi Elazar of Sanok, also known as 'The Sanoker Rav', were sent to the important Chassidic Naggid Rabbi Shimon Steinberg of New York, with requests for varied charities and showing profound interest in the lives in the USA. 

Rabbi Elazar asks whether to relocate to the USA, which he eventually did. 

An additional rare document, from when he lived in the USA, is a broadside with Rabbi Elazar's printed signature with a request to support and assist him and his pious wife.


* An additional letter was sent by his brother-in-law the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Dov Halberstam of Bardejov Brooklyn, who married the Rebbetzen Mrs. Reisel Sarah Shapiro. Rabbi Chaim Dov was the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Shmuel of Bardejov, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Bardejov the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Baruch of Gorlitz. The letter was sent from New York in 1941 and it too deals with charity matters. 


* An additional letter by the pious Rebbetzen Mrs. Beila Halberstam, the daughter of the Tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Shapiro if Dinov, the wife of the holy Tzaddik Rabbi David Moshe Halberstam of Dinov, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Elisha of Gorlitz the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Baruch of Gorlitz. In Yiddish. Her husband, the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David of Dinov, added several handwritten lines to the letter. 


[8] letters and postcards. Some of them on official stationery. All in Yiddish. Condition varies. Good general condition.
