Letter from the Gaon Rabbi Yoshe Ber Soloveitchik, Rosh Yeshivah of Brisk, to the 'Chazon Ish'
Letter from Rabbi Yosef Dov (Yosha Ber) Soloveitchik to our teacher the Chazon Ish, in which he informs him of the birth of his son and asks him for a blessing for newly circumcised infant and his mother, and for his son, Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua.

Rabbi Yosha Ber Soloveitchik (1916-1981) the eldest son and right hand of his father the Brisker Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Zev, was very close to the Chazon Ish, who was very fond of him. They corresponded on Torah subjects and general conversation.
After the death of his father Rav Yitzchak Zev, he established the well-known Brisker Yeshivah in Jerusalem and headed it for many years. His son and successor as Rosh Yeshivah is Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua, mentioned above.
