Chamisha Chumshei Torah with the commentary of Rashi, Ramban and Ba'al HaTurim. Levensohn press, Warsaw, [1854]. First numbered, bibliophile edition. Printed without the prayers at the end of the volume.
5 volumes. 20 cm.
Two title pages for each volume. "No. 48" listed on the verso of the first title page.
The Pentateuch is punctuated and includes the commentary of Onkelos, Rashi, R"Y Ba'al HaTurim and Ramban. Includes all the haftarot and five megillot with Rashi's commentary.
Original bindings, some detached with blemished spines. Leaves are intact. Aging stains. Fine condition.
That same year, another edition was printed. It was not numbered, and did not feature the additional 12 leaves with Shabbat prayers.
This bibliophile edition is not in the National Library and not listed by the Bibliographic Project.
