Kinah L'Dovid. Eulogy upon the death of Rabbi Dovid Luria, disciple of the GR"A. Koenigsberg, [1856].
One of the prominent, second-generation, disciples of the GR"A. Collaborated in the printing of tens of the GR"A's works. He authored a number of books, including "Kadmot Sefer HaZohar", "Pirkei DiRabi Eliezer im Biur HaRadal" and other works. As a young child, he merited to see the Gaon of Vilna. He was nicknamed "the small Gaon of Vilna". [1], 8 leaves. 21 cm.
The author-eulogizer was Rabbi Yechiel Heller, author of "Shu"t Amudei Ohr", brother of Rabbi Yehoshua Heller author of "Chosen Yehoshua" and other works.
Not bound. Hebrew and Latin text on the back, paper jacket. Aging stains. Fine condition. The stamp of the 'Churvat Rabbi Yehuda HaChassid' synagogue. Only edition. Very rare.
