Elegant 9-flame Ballhaus chandelier, GDR classic. Mid 1950s, 4th of a total of 6 chandeliers.
For the cultural restart of the GDR, different modern lighting concepts were implemented for concert halls, theaters, cinemas and ballrooms by the LBL (Leuchtenbau Leipzig) until the mid-1950s from materials of the KANDEM factory expropriated in 1948. This rare chandelier is an interesting testimony of the time.
