2 early censers, possibly from Mesopotamia & Byzantium
Fantastic old pieces, one decorated with winged deities reminiscent of those worshipped in Sumer and Babylonia, the other, with marine fauna found in shallows of the Bosporus. Each censer measuring approximately 4" X 2.5", and 4" X 4.5", respectively.
