PIAF EDITH: (1915-1963) French Singer. Vintage signed colour 4 x 6 photograph of Piaf, the promotional Columbia image depicting the French singer standing in a full length pose alongside Theo Sarapo. Individually signed by both artists in blue ink with their names alone to clear areas of the image. Bearing to the verso a printed text listing Piaf´s recording with Columbia. Very small, overall age wear and extremely small creases to the edges. G £250-350 Theo Sarapo (1936-1970) Born Theophanis Lamboukas. French artist, former hairdresser. Sarapo, twenty years younger than Piaf, married the French singer in 1962. Sarapo died at the early age of 34 in a car accident.
