CODY W. F.: (1846-1917) American Showman. A.L.S., Cousin Will, one page, 4to, Shenandoah, Texas, 7th July 1915, to Frank and Nellie, on attractive red and black printed stationery promoting Buffalo Bill's Original Wild West and featuring an image of Cody. The showman informs his correspondents that he is 'Getting ready for the big time at Cody, the eastern entrance to The Yellow Stone Park', explaining that on 1st August 'a thousand automobiles are to enter the Park'. Cody concludes 'We have two prospective buyers on the hook. And so much to do, so many letters to write'.
