LANG ANTON : (1875-1938) German Actor. Most remembered for playing several times Jesus Christ role in the Oberammergau Passion play at the Bavarian Festival between 1900 and 1934. An attractive clipped postcard depicting a portrait of Lang to the front, in his role as Jesus Christ. Boldly signed `Anton Lang´, in black ink at the base of the image, also dated 1910 in his hand.
