CELINE LOUIS FERDINAND: (1894-1961) French Novelist. Known as Celine, being his real name Destouches, a controversial writer because of his antisemitism. A.L.S., L.F. Celine mentions that Mikkelsen is finally on his way to Paris and states `I am frightened when I think that he might not meet you! Renée Canavaggia will do all she can to make this meeting happen!..´ Celine went into exile in Denmark from 1944 to 1951. G £400-600 Thorvald Mikkelsen (1895-1962) was Celine´s Danish lawyer. Renée Canavaggia (1902-1996) French astrophysicist was the sister of Maria (1896-1976), translator and literature secretary of Céline.
