Teddy Kollek (1911 - 2007) was the mayor of Jerusalem for 28 years, from 1965 to 1993, the Israel Prize laureate for his special contribution to the State of Israel.
Eliyahu Eliashar (1899-1981) was a public figure and an Israeli businessman, president of the Sephardi Community Committee in Jerusalem, deputy mayor of Jerusalem and member of the Knesset.
