GREEN JULIEN: (1900-1998) American Writer. He wrote mostly in French and was the first non-French to be elected to the French Academy. A good set of three A.Ls.S., `Julien Green«, one page, two of them being on a 4to, Paris, n.d., on his personal printed stationery, the third to a postcard, Berlin, 29th June 1929, all of them to Youra Guller, in French. Green thanks her correspondent for her letter and invites her for lunch at home. On the second letter he explains how delighted they were, himself and his sister, to meet her the day before, and explains he has to travel urgently to London but wants to meet her again as soon as possible once he will be back. On the last one Green explains that he will be back in Paris early August, and asks his correspondent if she will be available to meet. To the front of the postcard showing a photograph of a Berlin square. About VG, 3 £80-100 Youra Guller (1895-1980) French Classical Pianist.
