The partially printed document bears at the heading ''Suchet, Brigade General'' and only few days earlier appointed ''Chief of Headquarters - Danube army''. Suchet makes a lengthy report of the armies situation and states in part `Since that affair happened near Zurich.. our military front posts are extremely close.. on more than one bridge the sentries talk to each other..«, further saying `..In the meantime the army rests, reinforces, and gets ready to support the good citizens« wish, which means to obtain the victory..« A good military report including his confidential own thoughts to his younger brother.
