HeterIska with the Signature of the Rebbe Rabbi AryehLeibush Halberstam of Zemigrad
A 'HeterIska' deed with the handwritten signature of the Rebbe Rabbi AryehLeibush Halberstam of Zemigrad, Bnei Brak, 1974. Rabbi AryehLeibush Halberstam (1912-2007) son of Rabbi Sinai the Rebbe of Kalshitz and Zemigrad, son of the Rebbe Rabbi Baruch of Gorlitz and great-grandson of the 'Divrei Chaim'. One of the students of the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva. Escaped to Siberia during the Second World War, where he studied Torah day and night without going to the hard labor. After the Holocaust he reached Jaffa in the Land of Israel. Travelled to America and then returned and established his study court in the city of Bnei Brak. His teachings were printed in the series of books 'AryehSha'ag'. 22x14 cm. Fold marks and stains. Overall condition: Good.
