Collection of Postcards – Jewish Artists and Zionist Leaders – First Half of 20th century
About 130 postcards with works by Jewish artists and portraits of Zionist figures, among them "Shanah Tovah" postcards. Different publishers. Germany, Poland, Russia, Palestine, USA, Austria, Holland and England, [first half of 20th century].
Most postcards depict works of art by different Jewish artists, among them: E.M. Lilien, Abel Pann, Isidor Kaufman, Lazar Krestin, Meir Gur Aryeh, Leopold Pilichowsky and others. A few of the postcards feature portraits of famous Jewish and Zionist personalities: H.N. Bialik, Max Nordau, Nahum Sokolow, Moshe Montefiore, Ze'ev Jabotinsky and more. "Shanah Tovah" greetings are printed on several postcards. The collection contains a few Real-Photo postcards and eight undivided postcards.
Enclosed are several printed cards which are not postcards. A number of items might appear in several copies.
About 130 postcards, arranged in an album. Condition varies. Good overall condition.
