The Chayal/ To Chayal. A group of eleven newspapers.
These papers were in use by the Jewish soldiers serving in the English Jewish brigade serving in Europe.
Nine papers of " To Chayal" in large format 42*30cm and two "The Chayal" papers in small format 35*24cm.
The paper went out during the important period between the end of the Holocaust and the founding of the State. While the Brigade was in Western Europe. It includes a daily report from the Haretz paper, important events like the refugee camps, Attempts at making Aliyah and memories of the soldiers from the war.
eleven different pamphlets including several limited editions that went out for Chagim or Shabat. Several missing or torn papers but in general found in good condition.
