Eretz Israel and only Eretz israe- We have solved it. A post card of Herzl's grave in Viena. With a branch from a cedar tree which is above his grave .Was sent from the opening of the seventh Zionist congress in Basel.

A post card in which a photo of the grave of Theodore Herzl in Vienna is shown. Attached to the post card is a branch from the cedar tree which is next to his grave. The cedar tree is symbolic because Herzl planted one in Israel during his trip in 1898. On the bottom of the post card is written: the grave of Herzl and a quote from the bible "And you will bring my bones up with you"

A very early picture of Herzl's grave where we see the original writing of his name on the grave. Later on his family's names are added.

During this congress which took place one year after the passing of Herzl, David Wolfson was chosen to head the World Zionist program in place of Herzl. And in this congress the option of having Uganda In Israel was pushed off completely. " Only in Eretz Israel!

This post card was sent by one of the Congress participants and in it he send the following remarkable message: " My precious brothers and sisters the Basel program has finally been decided largely in favor of Eretz Israel and only Eretz Israel, thank God it has been decided!!- your brother and loved one -Yitzchak

The post card is stamped with the post office stamp. General condition is good with light damage that does not take away from the overall aesthetic look.
