Best remembered for his immersion in the colourful and theatrical life of Paris in the late 19th century, producing elegant and provocative images of the decadent affairs of those times. Very rare A.L.S., `Henri´, two pages, 8vo, n.p., n.d., to his mother, in French. Toulouse-Lautrec states `My dear Mum, I have just seen Georges who has to bring you back here. Please give the keys of my workshop to my friend Robin; who will act as depositary. Only him knows the deep secrets of my studio. Waiting for your visit, I kiss you.´ Written to the first and third page. The document bears an attractive Waverley watermark.
