DOUGLAS ALFRED: (1870-1945) English Author & Poet, the intimate friend and lover of Oscar Wilde. Douglas informs his correspondent, in full, 'I am afraid I cannot make use of this article although it is very interesting. It deals rather too much with the commercial side of literature for publication in ''The Academy'' but I read it with great interest.'
