LONGFELLOW HENRY WADSWORTH: (1807-1882) American Poet. Vintage signed sepia cabinet photograph by Longfellow, the image depicting the bearded poet in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by Warren's Portraits of Boston. Signed ('Henry W. Longfellow') in bold dark ink to the lower photographer's mount and dated 1878 in his hand. With a small ink date and annotation in another hand to the lower edge of the photographer's mount. Some slight scuffing at the base, only very slightly affecting the signature.
