Alexander Sergeyevich Lappo-Danilevsky (15 (27) January 1863, a successful estate at the village of Successful Gulyai-Pole parish of Verkhnedneprovsky district of Ekaterinoslav province — February 7, 1919, Petrograd) — Russian historian, one of the founders of the methodology of historical science in Russia, ordinary academician of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1905).
