Lot of [4] "Kol Koreh" Posters from the People of the Old Yishuv C. 1920
One of the posters is authorization from Rabbi Winograd for Rabbi Mendel Rand to deal with the finances of the Torat Chaim yeshivah for everything concerning collecting charity; two other posters are "kol koreh"s to collect money for orphans, widows and (married) Torah scholars in the Land of Israel. The fourth is an election poster for the Vaad HaAshkenazi of the Edah Charedit, with the original stamp of the Vaad HaIr.
Rabbis of the Land of Israel and Jerusalem signed on the posters, including the gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook, the gaon Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, the gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, rabbis of the BaDa"Tz of the Edah HaChareidit.
Some of the posters have the requests written in a number of languages - Hebrew, Yiddish and English.
Various sizes. Fine-very fine condition.
