Megilah Blessings - Illuminated Manuscript on Parchment

Berachot HaMegilah. Illuminated manuscript on parchment. [Italy? Late 18th / early 19th century].
Parchment sheet, on which are written the blessings which are read before reading the Scroll of Esther on Purim, and a blessing read following it, according to the customs of oriental congregations. The text appears in three gates decorated with arches; columns and ornaments appear in between the gates. Within the arches and in frames appears the liturgy of Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra, starting with the words “Kor’ei Megilah…” (the last verse of this liturgy is completed on the bottom of the third gate).
Ca 17X53 cm. Fair condition. Spotting and creases, folding marks, ink fading in numerous places. Tears to margins and several holes (with damage to text).
