German translation of the book "Tvu’ot Ha’aretz", by Rabbi Yehosef Schwartz. Five plates: R' Yehosef Schwartz's portrait facing the title page. Images of the Temple Mount, Western Wall and Bethlehem (two illustrations on one plate); Cave of the Patriarchs and a folding plate with a panoramic view of Jerusalem in lithographic printing, together with a folding map of Eretz Israel (1847).
XIX, 452, 20 pp.+ [5] plates, 20.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains, foxing. One folding map is worn and slightly torn at margins. Margins of binding are worn. Lacking part of spine.
