Forty four items of the War of Independence period in Jerusalem, amongst them items from the siege days and some of the first half of the 1940s.
Including: *Envelopes stamped "Military Mail" (December 1948) and personal letters sent from Jerusalem during 1948 / *Handwritten leaf "Instructions for weapons hiding place". *Short letter on stationery of "Jewish Community Committee in Jerusalem": "Would you include Dr. Rosenfeld in the People's Guard, he needs it badly" (January 1948). *Tickets and food-stamps.
