Letter from the "Committee for the Preservation of the Memory of Holocaust Victims by the Chief Rabbinate for Eretz Israel", addressed to the writer Zvi Bernstein (1914-1993). Jerusalem, [January 1946].
"Dear writer! In an assembly meeting of the Chief Rabbinateג€¦it was decided to establish a project to preserve the memory of Holocaust victimsג€¦.. by : ג€¦guarding the holy placesג€¦.observing Shabat, enhancing the study of Torahג€¦.in memory of tens of thousands of Jewish children who were murdered in the Holocaustג€¦" Ink stamps and handwritten signatures of Rabbi Eliyahu Mordechai Halevy Valkovsky and Rabbi Ya'akov ben David Klemes. Leaf 26 cm. Good condition. Filing holes, minor tears at borders, folding-marks, minor stains.
