He has won numerous titles as a player: He won the NBA championship six times while wearing the Chicago Blues uniform, and twice the Olympic gold medal in the U. S. national team uniform. He won the title NBA MVP of the regular season twice, was a ten time member of the team of the season, nine time member of the defensive team of the season, with 14 time participation in all-star games, three steals titles, six time MVP of the finals, and defensive player of the year for 1988. In addition, Jordan holds the record for highest career regular season scoring average in the NBA. In 2015, in light of his exceptional achievements and contribution to basketball, Jordan joined the FIBA hall of fame, and in 2016 U. S. president Barack Obama gave him the presidential medal of freedom, the nation's highest honor.

This magazine was published when he won his fourth championship in 1996, when Jordan and the Chicago Blues broke several records on their way to a decisive and historic championship; it touched Jordan personally, because it was the first championship since his father passed away.
