Beirech Yitzchak. Venice, 1763. First Edition. Handwritten Glosses from the Period of the Printing
Beirech Yitzchak - sermons on the order of the Torah portions by Rabbi Yitzchak Berachah. There are four glosses amongst the book's leaves, three of which are lengthy.
Rabbi Yitzchak Berachah [d. 16 Adar II 1772] was rabbi and dayan in Aleppo. Philanthropist Eliyahu Salbirah supported him over the years, for which he expresses his appreciation in his introduction. At the opening of the book, permit from the Venice community committee, and with a lengthy approbation by the rabbis of Aleppo, in which the greatness of the author is described.
128, [1] leaf, with the last leaf, which includes the table of errata, which is not recorded in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book. 26 cm; fine condition. Worming perforations. Simple binding.
