Pair of Books Printed by the Author of Chafetz Chaim. First Editions. One of them is Inscribed "Proofread" in his Hand.
* Gevurot Ar"i al HaShas. Pietrkov, 1906. The word "proofread" "מוגה" appears on the flyleaf in the Chafetz Chaim's handwriting.
This work is on Tractates Yoma and Makkot, and it was authored by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Ginzburg, author of Sha'agat Aryeh. The Chafetz Chaim published it for the first time, and added a foreword of his own. Special title page for Tractate Makkot. 68, 11 leaves. 32 cm. Detached title page.
