NEWTON HELMUT: (1920-2004) German-Australian Photographer. A fashion provocative artist, best-known for his erotic black and white photographs and well-remembered for his works for Vogue. A very attractive signed and inscribed Lufthansa large 23.5 x 38 poster, `For Debbie and Madison, with Love from Helmut´, the image depicting a woman, standing outdoors, wearing a Russian winter overcoat and bearskin with a whip in her hand, alongside a Russian black bear standing on his hing legs. Signed to the white lower border, beneath the poster image and above and across a printed text in German and in Cyrillic, entitled ''Helmut Newton in Moskau'', the photograph title being ''Helmut Newton, Vogue Frankreich, Paris, 1969, Tigre Royal''.
