KUN BELA: (1886-1938) Born Bela Kohn. Hungarian Communist Revolutionary and Politician. He was the De Facto leader of the Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919. Following the fall of the revolution he emigrated to the Soviet Union. He was an active leader during the Red Terror period in Crimea 1920-21. In the late 30´s, during the Great Purge, Kun was arrested accused of Trotskyism, tried and executed the same day. Extremely rare signature `Kun Bela´, in pencil, to a 4to page, thin paper, n.p., dated 1924 in a collector´s hand to the verso. The folded clipped page bears above Kun´s signature the purple typed text ''Communist regards'', in Hungarian. Also bearing a second unidentified pencil signature, and a purple ink annotation in Hungarian. Overall age wear and creasing due to thin paper, with irregular edges. F £200-300
