AN OTTOMAN TURKISH ISLAMIC SHAMSHIR SWORD
Steel cross guard, carved wood grip scales secured by rivets and decorated with silver rosettes, curved single-edged blade with wide and narrow fillers on either side, wood scabbard covered with stitched black leather and iron mount with two suspension rings. Circa 19th C.
