A CAUCASIAN BLUDERBUSS WITH GOLD INLAY, KOFTGARI
A Caucasian probably Georgian blunderbuss or saddle pistol with a miquelet type flintlock, flared muzzle barrel Damascus twist steel chiseled and decorated with gold inlay featuring images of animals in cartouches. The stock of walnut tree root decorated with bone and mother-of-pearl inlay, The flintlock is lockplate are decorated with gold inlay. Middle 19th century.

Condition: Wooden stock has minor scratches and signs of wear, Damascus steel barrel has a good visible pattern, the gold inlay is practically intact, good action
