Vera Veisa studied at the Department of Ceramics of the Rezekne Art Secondary School (1966) and graduated from the Sculpture Department of the State Academy of Arts of the LSSR named after T. Zalkalns (1975). She has been participating in exhibitions in Latvia and abroad since 1971. She worked at the Riga Porcelain Factory from 1966 to 1979, started with a modeling workshop, then as a sculptor in an art laboratory. In 1980 Vera Weissa took part in the International Symposium of Medalist Artists in Hungary.
