Igor Voroshilov (1939, Alapaevsk — March 1989, Moscow) was a Russian artist and representative of unofficial art.

From the family of the Kuban Cossacks in the years of Stalin's collectivization expropriated and relocated beyond the Urals. As a child, he was fond of music (played the accordion), sports, and later reading philosophical and religious literature. In 1957 he entered the VGIK at the faculty of film studies, met with the artist Alexander Vasiliev.

In 1958 saw in the Pushkin Museum "Landscape in Auvers" by van Gogh, and then decided to become an artist. Joined the group Vasilyev, met here with Vladimir Yakovlev, Vladimir Pyatnitsky, Anatoly Zverev, Gennady Aigi, Venedikt Erofeev, Igor Vulokh, Mikhail Shvartsman and others. Member of the Second Russian avant-garde. Painting and graphics Voroshilov began to be interested in connoisseurs and collectors of non-conformist art. An exhibition of his works was held at the apartment of Vadim Stoller.

In addition to paintings and drawings, Voroshilov wrote poetry, prose, worked on the treatise "On painting" (remained unfinished).

Lived from hand to mouth, a lot of inaudible and drinking, not once got to the police station and jail. 

In recent years Igor Voroshilov lived and worked in Upper Pyshma.

In 1988, in Kiev there was an exhibition of Voroshilov, became his last lifetime exposure. He died by inadvertently taking an excessive dose of sleeping pills.
