Frenz Garri Rudolfovich (1926 - 1987).
Soviet artist, painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Born in the family of the famous painter Rudolf Rudolfovich Frenz. He studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after IE Repin from 1947 to 1953. He graduated from the painting faculty, the workshop of Professor Mikhail Ivanovich Avilov. For his thesis "On the forest roads" got an excellent rating. Participated in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The works of G.R. Frenz are in the collections of the Russian Museum, the museum of the city of St. Petersburg, in the collections of many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
