Grachev Oleg Valerievich (1923-2012).

Painter. Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea. Born July 24, 1923 in Tula. 1930s moves with his family to Simferopol. In 1940 he entered the Art School in Simferopol, at the same time he worked as an assistant decorator at the Russian Drama Theater. He worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1962 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Participant of regional and republican exhibitions. Also, personal exhibitions were held at the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Ukraine in Simferopol in 1983, 1993, 2003, 2007 and 2010. In the 1970s. was invited to Moscow, where he held three personal exhibitions, where Grachev met E. Neizvestny, I. Kabakov, O. Tselkov and other representatives of the Moscow avant-garde. In the 1970s, three solo exhibitions were organized in Moscow. The artist's paintings are presented in the Sevastopol Art Museum, the Feodosia Art Gallery, in private collections in Russia, Germany, Israel, Canada, the USA, etc.
