PAULI WOLFGANG: (1900-1958) Austrian-born Swiss & American Physicist. A pioneer of quantum physics. Nobel Prize in Physics in 1945 for his ''decisive contribution through his discovery of a new law of nature, the exclusion principle of Pauli principle'', the basis of a theory of the structure of matter. Widely recognized as one of the most brilliant Physicians of the XXth century. A good content T.L.S., `W. Pauli´, one page, 4to, Zurich, 9th June 1950, on the Physikalisches Institut of Zurich letterhead, to Henri Corbiere, in French. Pauli responds to three questions of his correspondent. To the second one related to his personal economic resources when he started his professional career, Pauli s `Not owning personal fortune, I lived only with my work incomes´, and further, to the last question about his most relevant work, Pauli states `Ausschliessungeprinsip (1925)´, the discovery of the exclusion principle, also called the Pauli Principle.
