AN IMPORTANT FLINTLOCK PISTOL WITH FAMILY CREST
An important flintlock pistol with family crest of KURFURST MAXIMILIAN VON KONIGSEGG-ROTHENFELS. Octagonal barrel with chiseled floral motifs and brass inlay, three makers stamps at the breach, and signed at the top "F MARDER IN COLONIA." Carved walnut stock with Coat of Arms at the top, left side plate is chiseled and brass inlaid, plain right side plate; buttcap and trigger guard are decorated with chiselling and inlay. Original wood ramrod with horn tip.
