A PERSIAN SHAMSHIR WITH DAMASCUS BLADE, 19TH C.
With characteristic hilt with carved grip scales, curved Damascus single edged blade with yelman, tugra with Arabic inscription made with gold inlay, wooden scabbard covered with black leather, silver chiseled mounts, two suspension loops (one loop is partially detached).
Dimensions: L: 39 1/2 in., (100 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall with a few dents to silver mounts, blade has minor pittings
