17TH CENTURY INDIAN KATAR MYSORE ARMORY MARKINGS
With Mysore Armory markings on the blade, characteristic form steel forged grip with floral chiseled design enriched with silver overlay. In the 17th century, the type was adopted across South Asia and became a standard dress accessory in the Mughal courts.
