Golub Petr Semenocivh (1913–1953)
Soviet graphic artist, book illustrator, poster artist; author of well-known posters. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Known as the author of posters on advertising, agricultural, sports, electoral, foreign and domestic policy topics. He began his creative career in the 1930s with work in the field of posters, magazine (Ogonyok and Smena magazines) and easel graphics. Pyotr Golub's posters are a notable phenomenon of propaganda art of the late 40s - early 50s. Participated in Moscow and All-Union art exhibitions.
